Phillips tablet APK installation

Step 1 - set up:

Power up your Philips Tablet

choose language (We recommend English for best follow along with the guide)

Skip “Clone media files into internal” 

Skip “Signage display settings” 

Toggle the “Security settings” like this, and press next:

 

Under “Network settings” select your network's and establish a network connection.

Now the setup is complete, and you can press “Finish”.

When presented with “Allow CMND&Deploy” press “Back”

Now you should end on a black screen. 

Step 2 - Unlock:

Swipe up on the screen to access the password input dialog.

Enter “1234” and press ok.  

Step 3 - Prepare USB:

Copy the latest “.apk” file on infoTV booking, to the root of a USB flash drive:

Plugin the USB Flash Drive.

Step 3 (Optional) - Change system language

Note - If the system language is set to english, the booking app will inherit this. So if another languages is preffered, then now is the time to change before installing

Go to "Settings"

Go to "System"

Select "Language and input", Choose "Languages" and "Add a language"

Select "Preffered language" from the list. 

Now, you will see "1 English" and "2 Preffered language." Place a finger on "Preffered language" and drag it up over "English."

The language is now switched to Preffered language.)

Step 4 - Installing .apk and setting up as home app:

Click on “Storage” and choose the flash drive 

Select your InfoTV booking .apk file and press “Open”

Install the “InfoTV booking app” and press open

Now press “Allow” for infoTV booking to access your files.

Toggle on “Allow from this source” under install unknown apps, and press “Back”.

Now when presented with dialog box about optimal performance, press “yes”:

Then press “Home app”:

And choose infoTV Booking, and press back til you get to the pairing screen:

Step 5 - Set custom app for start up

Firstly navigate to the buttons on the backsite of the tablet: 

Locate the "Home" and "Volume down" buttons:

And press them simultaniously.

Enter “1234” and press ok.  

Now go to settings

Go to "Source settings"

Select "Custom app"

Press "Select app" and choose "InfoTV Booking" and press save

Now go back until you are in the "Signage Display" settings

Go to "General settings"

Go to "Boot on source" and select "Input"

Now choose "Custom app"

You are now done with the installation and setup.

And you can register the tablet on: https://booking.app-infotv.net/da-DK/user/login
